I love Fairport, LOVE them. Didn't know that was Joni's song though thanks for the info. That one is on "what we did on our holidays" right? Need to replace it, the ex " borrowed" it which means I will NEVER see it again : (

Hey do you have their album " Heyday" one of my all time favs. It's them doing all American written folk covers, from Leonard Cohen to Dylan to Johnny Cash. Great stuff.

No, I don't have Heyday, I heard Sandy Denny and Joni sing Eastern Rain on Dead to the World a few years back and was blown away. I'm doing a torrent search for "What we did on our holidays"

My pleasure Charlie. My new Kharmic direction is that I have laid off downloading so I can free up my processors limited mind for buring for people. I've been way behind but by this weekend I shall be caught up. So that means anyone I've promised stuff to ( you know who you are ) expect to see it by the end of next week.

I wonder who Yoko's vocal coach was.

By the way, did you see recently her call for the anniversary of John's death to be a day of World Healing and Forgiveness, or something like that? Ironically, she said that she has yet to find it within her heart to forgive Chapman.

Can you blame her, though?

Yoko's coach is no longer with us. "Muffin" as she was know to her best friends was run down on I-95 while persuing a mouse, some say that it was at that moment that she gave her greatest performance.

Some say it was she who insprired the touching line: "Did you ever waken to the sound of street cats making love?
You guess from the cries you were listening to a fight".
